On Thursday, April 17, 2025, Triad Math and Science Academy Elementary officially achieved the prestigious status of a Leader in Me Lighthouse School—a monumental accomplishment that reflects years of vision, commitment, and collective growth. Even more exciting, we are proud to share that we are the FIRST elementary school in the entire Piedmont Triad area to earn this distinction!
This honor is a celebration of the transformational journey our school has taken through the Leader in Me framework. Grounded in the timeless principles of the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People (plus the 8th Habit: Find Your Voice and Inspire Others to Find Theirs), our entire school culture has experienced a powerful shift. What’s Next?
Our journey doesn’t end here—in fact, it’s just the beginning. Over the next two years, we will participate in the Lighthouse Certification validation process, maintaining and strengthening the systems and culture that brought us to this point. Our long-term goal is to become a Leader in Me Legacy School, a recognition reserved for schools that demonstrate ten years of sustained excellence in leadership and learning.
